In Greece, the 40% of the total energy consumption is due to the buildings; particularly the old ones that consume excessive amounts of energy because of not complying with the new environmental criteria.

The 3rd International exhibition “DOMICATEC – Building and Renovating” which will take place from

Thursday March 15th till Sunday March 18th 2012

at the “Metropolitan Expo” exhibition center, located next to the international airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”, exhibits the most modern suggestions and solutions of the market for the highest energy performance of new and old buildings while similar new technologies will be presented including ecological and cost-efficient heating such as energy fireplaces, heater biomass – pellet etc.

“DOMICATEC – Building and Renovating” is annual and participations include companies with building materials and processing machinery, design and installation of heating, air conditioning, communication, security and water management, sanitary, household and garden equipment, frames, insulation, paints, investments, preconstruction,  tools, software, decorative items etc.

Visitors include traders of building materials and equipment, technical firms, contractors, engineers, architects, decorators, consultants, network installers (plumbers, electricians, specialists  of refrigeration, boiler, security systems and elevators), professionals and technicians of marble, wood, aluminum and glass, builders, painters and of course individuals. 

An element of particular interest is that the 3rd organization is realized along with another international exhibition of similar subject: “METEC – Construction Machinery” which will take place during that time in separate halls of the same exhibition center.

The exhibition is accompanied with many important conferences while selected speakers will participate from Greece and abroad.
